One of Labour’s great victories in May’s local elections was capturing Newark and Sherwood District Council from the Tories.
Lee Brazier, Portfolio Holder for Housing at the council, has endorsed Claire saying: “I’m backing Claire to be East Midlands Mayor. She knows our local communities and works closely with local councillors to get the best for our areas. My approach to improving housing matches with Claire’s and I want to work with her to get the best for our region.”
