Claire Ward’s campaign to become Labour’s first East Midlands Mayor has taken another step forward thanks to Ashfield CLP, which has decided to nominate her.
Commenting on the news Claire said: “We are growing support across our cities, towns and villages. This mayoralty matters, it isn’t just a ceremonial job. I have the energy and determination to beat the Tories.”
