Following the nomination period for constituency parties, trade unions, and council groups, a final shortlist of candidates has been announced in the race to be Labour’s first East Midlands Mayor.
On being named on the shortlist, Claire said: “I’m delighted and humbled to be on the shortlist to be Labour’s first East Midlands Mayor! This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many members, councillors and unions. But there is still more work to do – so come and help us in the final stretch!”
