Community union, who represent workers in every sector of the UK economy from steelworkers to office workers to the self-employed, have endorsed Claire Ward for East Midlands mayor.
Claire said: “I have dedicated my life to our Labour, Trade Union and Co-Operative movement. As Mayor, I will create a Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Social Partnership bringing together trade unions, local businesses, innovators and the broader community to make employment work for all.
“I am absolutely delighted to receive Community’s nomination.”
