Balbir Sandhu, a formidable local councillor in Normanton Ward and a well respected community leader across Derby, has revealed he’s backing Claire Ward for East Midlands Mayor.
Commenting on his announcement, Balbir said: “Claire is a formidable campaigner; she’s proven that here in Derby helping us win the local elections. She has a vast amount of real life and relevant experience to ensure the whole region benefits from an Elected Mayor. I’m backing Claire.”
