Today, we clocked up the miles as the Labour Unions team helped me spread the word about Thursday’s mayoral election, and my vision for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
From Ripley to Lenton and on to Kirkby in Ashfield, volunteers, party members and trade union campaigners knocked on hundreds of doors to deliver one simple message, if I’m elected on the 2nd of May, I will make this region the best place to live, work, and learn.
